Vignobles Bodillard is a multi-generational family estate based in Villié-Morgon, at the heart of the Beaujolais region. The Bodillard family has cultivated their vineyards for several generations, passing down a passion for the land and a deep respect for traditional viticulture. Today, the estate is managed by Renaud Bodillard, who continues to uphold the family’s values while embracing sustainable and organic practices.

The estate covers 15 hectares, spread across seven villages from Morgon to Saint-Véran. The vineyards are planted on sandy granite and schist slopes, ideal for Gamay and Chardonnay. Vine age ranges from 20 to over 100 years, with some parcels planted as early as 1902. Many plots are organically certified (ECOCERT), with all vineyard work done by hand on the steepest slopes and minimal intervention to respect the environment.

Winemaking follows traditional Beaujolais methods, including 100% carbonic maceration for reds. Wines are aged in cement vats, stainless steel, or French oak barrels, depending on the cuvée. Several wines are made without added sulfites.

The estate produces a diverse range of wines, including Beaujolais Villages, organic Beaujolais 3B, Morgon Tradition Cuvée Alexia, Morgon Marie-Louise, Morgon Thaddeus (organic), and Morgon L’Auguste, among others. The wines vary in aging potential from 3 to 20 years and have alcohol content around 12.5–13.5%.

Vignobles Bodillard produces about 80,000 bottles annually, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, tradition, and environmental stewardship.
