Champagne Sylvie Moreau is a family estate nestled in the picturesque village of Saint-Euphraise-et-Clairizet, on the Montagne de Reims. The domaine traces its roots to the 1960s, when the first vines were planted by the family, and the first bottles were sold in 1973. Today, Sylvie and her husband Olivier continue the family legacy, overseeing every aspect of the estate with passion and dedication.
The vineyards are spread across three distinct regions: the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne, and the Vallée de l’Ardre. This diversity allows the estate to cultivate all three classic Champagne grape varieties Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, each contributing unique characteristics to the final blends.
Respect for the land and the environment has always been a guiding principle at Champagne Sylvie Moreau. For nearly two decades, the estate has practiced sustainable viticulture, minimizing chemical inputs and prioritizing the health of the vines and soil. Each parcel is treated with care, ensuring the best expression of the terroir in every cuvée.
The winemaking process is marked by tradition and attention to detail: manual harvests, traditional pressing, and vinification in modern stainless steel tanks. The Champagnes are aged for at least three years for the Brut Racine and up to seven or eight years for the Reserve cuvées, resulting in wines of depth, freshness, and complexity.
Champagne Sylvie Moreau welcomes visitors to its estate, offering guided tours, tastings, and the chance to discover the passion behind every bottle.
