Champagne Piot Sévillano is a family estate rooted in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, in the picturesque village of Vincelles. The story of the house is woven through ten generations of winemakers, tracing its origins back to 1700. Today, Christine Sévillano, a passionate and independent vigneronne, leads the domaine, crafting Champagnes that are rare, characterful, and deeply expressive of their terroir.
The estate’s 8 hectares of vineyards are planted on the sun-drenched slopes of Vincelles, with a unique blend of 70% Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir, and 15% Chardonnay. Half of the vines were grafted by Christine’s great-grandfather and grandfather, giving the wines a distinctive personality and a direct link to the family’s heritage.
Since 2015, Champagne Piot Sévillano has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale, and in 2023, the domaine achieved full organic certification after a four-year conversion. This commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of the estate’s work: drastic reduction of treatments, zero herbicides, exclusive use of organic fertilizers, rainwater collection, and the protection of biodiversity. The goal is to craft natural Champagnes that reveal the authentic aromas of the terroir without harming the environment.
In the cellar, Christine Sévillano oversees every stage of winemaking, from vine to bottle, with a focus on minimal intervention and respect for tradition. The estate produces 16 cuvées, each vinified to highlight the unique character of the terroir and the vintage. The range includes classic Brut, Rosé, Millésime, and Prestige cuvées, as well as limited editions crafted for a discerning clientele.
Champagne Piot Sévillano is also renowned for its warm hospitality and oenotourism offerings.
