Domaine Neumeyer is a family-run estate in Molsheim, Alsace, with a heritage spanning four generations since its founding in 1925. Today, the estate is managed by Jérôme Neumeyer, Marie Neumeyer-Tonner, and Frédéric Tonner, who continue the family’s commitment to producing authentic, terroir-driven wines that reflect the unique character of their region.
The estate’s 16 hectares of vineyards are spread across Molsheim, Mutzig, and Avolsheim. All parcels are certified organic and managed with practices such as surface tilling, native flora cover, hand harvesting, careful parcel selection, and measured yields. The hallmark of the estate is the Muschelkalk (shell limestone) soil, present in every parcel and symbolized in their logo. Key terroirs include Grand Cru Bruderthal, Hahnenberg, Schaefferstein, Stierkopf, and Finkenberg, each with unique soils and exposures that shape the wines’ profiles.
Winemaking at Domaine Neumeyer is defined by minimal intervention: gentle pressing, sorting, indigenous yeast fermentation, and long lees aging help preserve the full potential of ripe, hand-picked grapes. The estate values the human element, blending tradition and innovation to create wines with personality and authenticity.
The portfolio features a range of expressive cuvées, including Riesling Grand Cru Bruderthal, Muscat Grand Cru Bruderthal, Pinot Gris Grand Cru Bruderthal, Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Bruderthal, Pinot Gris Chartreux, Pinot Noir Berger, Pinot Gris Berger, Gewurztraminer Taureau, Riesling Pinsons, and Sylvaner Générations.
Domaine Neumeyer is recognized for its organic viticulture, clear terroir expression, and enduring family legacy. Visitors are welcomed by appointment for tastings in the cellar in Molsheim.
