Domaine Grand is a family-run estate in the Jura region, shaped by the passion and vision of Emmanuel Grand and Nathalie Morin. The domaine’s story began in 1970 when André Grand and his brothers expanded the family vineyards to 25 hectares, building on the foundation laid by their father, René Grand. In 2011, Emmanuel and Nathalie took the reins, bringing together their deep roots in Jura wine and a shared commitment to organic farming and artistic expression.

By 2015, the couple had refined the estate to 11 hectares, focusing exclusively on organic cultivation. The vineyards, which include parcels in Arbois, Château-Chalon, and around their home in Passenans, feature vines aged from 25 to over 100 years. Specializing in Chardonnay, Savagnin (both ouillé and oxidative), Trousseau, and Pinot Noir, Domaine Grand produces about 45,000 bottles annually. Nathalie leads vineyard work, while Emmanuel oversees the cellar, practicing minimal intervention, aging in old barrels, and using only minimal sulfites at pressing.

A distinctive feature of Domaine Grand is its integration of art into every aspect of its identity. Each vintage features a unique label, excerpted from a commissioned artwork by Parisian artist Bast, with design direction by Joachim Werner. The oval motif, historic to the estate, frames each label, creating a visual language that mirrors the domaine’s commitment to individuality and terroir expression.

Domaine Grand’s wines are celebrated for their purity, energy, and depth, embodying the challenging climate and diverse soils of the Jura. The estate stands as a benchmark for organic viticulture, artistic collaboration, and authentic Jura craftsmanship.
