Domaine de la Creuze Noire is a family-run estate situated in Leynes, at the crossroads of the Mâconnais and Beaujolais wine regions. Since 1983, the Martin family has cultivated more than 30 hectares of vines, drawing on five generations of winemaking tradition. This unique geographical location allows the estate to benefit from the rich diversity of both Burgundy and Beaujolais terroirs.

The vineyards are spread across varied soils: clay-limestone in the Mâconnais, ideal for Chardonnay, and granitic slopes in Beaujolais, perfectly suited for Gamay Noir. These two grape varieties are at the heart of the estate’s production, each expressing the nuances of their respective terroirs. Chardonnay reveals aromatic complexity and elegance, while Gamay Noir delivers wines with subtlety and vibrant red fruit character.

Committed to environmental stewardship, Domaine de la Creuze Noire has held High Environmental Value Level 3 (HVE3) certification since 2018. The estate practices rigorous vineyard management, respecting biodiversity and ensuring the health of both soil and vine.

Wines from Domaine de la Creuze Noire are crafted with precision, reflecting the estate’s dedication to quality and authenticity. Each step, from pruning to harvest and winemaking, is carried out with meticulous care to highlight the unique character of every parcel.

Visitors are welcomed to discover the estate’s rich heritage, explore its terroir-driven wines, and experience the Martin family’s passion for authentic Burgundy and Beaujolais craftsmanship.
