Champagne Yann Alexandre is a family estate based in Courmas, at the heart of the Petite Montagne de Reims. Established in 2001, the domaine is led by Yann Alexandre, who brings a deep passion for viticulture and a commitment to expressing the unique character of each vineyard parcel.
The estate cultivates 6.7 hectares of vines, spread across the Petite Montagne de Reims, Massif de Saint-Thierry, and Vitryat. The vineyard is planted with a balanced mix of Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir, allowing for a diverse and expressive range of Champagnes. Yann Alexandre’s philosophy centers on meticulous parcel selection, minimal intervention, and the pursuit of ripe, healthy grapes that reflect the terroir.
Since 2015, the domaine has been certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) level 3, underscoring a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture and biodiversity. Vineyard work is carried out with great care to limit environmental impact and to ensure the health of both vines and soil.
In the cellar, precision and respect for tradition guide every step. Each parcel is vinified separately, with a combination of stainless steel and oak barrel fermentations. Some cuvées undergo malolactic fermentation, while others do not, preserving freshness and complexity. Extended aging on lees, low dosages, and careful blending result in Champagnes that are both elegant and full of character.
The annual production is limited to 30,000 bottles, ensuring a focus on quality and authenticity.
