Nestled in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Champagne Allouchery Perseval is a family estate in Écueil, recognized as Premier Cru since 1911. The domaine, now managed by Émilien Allouchery, represents the fourth generation of winemakers, blending ancestral know how with modern viticultural and winemaking practices.
With 8 hectares of vineyards spread across 22 parcels, the estate is predominantly planted with Pinot Noir, complemented by Chardonnay and a touch of Meunier. The vines, averaging 25 years old, thrive on sandy clay limestone soils, which contribute to the finesse and aromatic complexity of the wines. Allouchery Perseval is certified Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (VDC), reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture. The estate has been engaged in organic conversion since 2020, with a focus on preserving biodiversity and minimizing environmental impact.
The winemaking process is marked by meticulous attention to detail: hand harvesting, gentle pneumatic pressing, natural clarification, and controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. No enzymes or fining agents are used, ensuring a pure and authentic expression of the terroir. The Champagnes are aged on lees for 2 to 9 years, depending on the cuvée, resulting in wines of remarkable freshness, complexity, and aging potential.
Annual production is around 55,000 to 60,000 bottles, with each cuvée crafted to showcase the unique character of Écueil’s terroir. The estate welcomes visitors year round and organizes the annual “Vins, Musique et Compagnie” event in April, celebrating Champagne, music, and conviviality.
Champagne Allouchery Perseval is a true reflection of family tradition, respect for nature, and the pursuit of excellence in every bottle.
